Marysville Monarchs Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Michael Bonczak singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Christian was the winning pitcher for Marysville Monarchs Varsity. He lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four.
Baker took the loss for Central Crossing. He allowed seven hits and three runs over six and a third innings, striking out seven.
Marysville Monarchs Varsity tallied seven hits on the day. Bonczak and Christian all collected multiple hits for Marysville Monarchs Varsity. Bonczak went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Marysville Monarchs Varsity in hits. Marysville Monarchs Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Chase Kilgore had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
