Boys Junior Varsity Soccer, Boys Varsity Soccer · Harmanis Selected To Lead The Monarch Boys Soccer Program

The Marysville Athletic Department is excited to announce pending board approval, Brent Harmanis will be the next leader of the Monarch Boys Soccer Program.  Harmanis most recently served as the Varsity Assistant for the program.  His bio can be seen below:

Family: Hannah (girlfriend) and Monty (cat)

Why I Coach:  “I coach because I want to make a positive impact on others, passing along the lessons I learned both on and off the field.  Sports have played a pivotal role in my life and I wouldn’t be who I am today without the coaches I had growing up.”

Why Marysville:  “Marysville is an incredible community. The thing that stands out most is the support the community provides for its kids. We have great parents and families who continually go above and beyond for our kids’ programs.”

Program Mission & Vision:  Our soccer program will be built on three pillars:

  • In the Classroom:  School will always be the top priority, as our athletes are students first and foremost.
  • In the Community:  Our program is committed to being an active and engaged part of our community and hope to be something community members take pride in.
  • On the Field:  While each year is different, the boys soccer program is built on discipline, organization, and teamwork.

“We’ve built a great foundation over the past few years and I’m excited for the opportunity to take another step forward. I want to thank our athletic department for the opportunity, as well as current and former players and parents for your support. I’m ready to get to work! #PTBM”
